A new, cutting-edge clinic just opened its doors to the public in Turin, Italy. J Medical, the brainchild of Juventus and Santa Clara Group, has renovated the Eastern Section of the Juventus Stadium and re-purposed it into a state of the art clinic for professional athletes as well as members of the public. The clinic combines the ten-year experience of one of the best-established healthcare providers in the country with a strong commitment to healthcare from one of the country’s biggest football clubs.
The only one of its kind in Italy, the facility is equipped with GE Healthcare’s latest imaging hardware, from low-dose CT scanners to ultrasound and MRI, as well as patient management software and data solutions to meet the rapidly evolving medical needs of a diverse patient population.
Highly trained specialists, supported by some of the latest technology from GE Healthcare, will be putting patients first as they follow them from initial diagnosis right the way through to treatment and/or rehabilitation.
The center, which was completed earlier this year, will help care for the Bianconeri players but also for the wider public who will benefit from its diagnostic services, physiotherapy and sports medicine capabilities.
Located on the east side of the Juventus Stadium, the facility covers an area of over 3,500 square meters and offers a wide range of services: diagnostics, specialized medicine, sports and regenerative medicine, and rehabilitation. In addition to a team of excellence consisting of sixty top-level specialists, J Medical has unique diagnostic machines in Italy, polyclinics and two operating rooms for outpatient surgery.
“This new facility is pioneering a contemporary advanced way of delivering healthcare using innovative high-tech equipment centered around patient experience,” said Marco Campione, President & CEO, GE Healthcare Italy. “J Medical aims to become the gold-standard in sports medicine and it is a prime example of the industry’s commitment to healthcare for Turin, Italy and beyond. We are proud to be supporting J Medical and Juventus FC with some of our latest and best technology that will help clinicians through every step of the patient pathway, from screening to diagnosis, from rehabilitation to treatment and follow-up.”
